Okay heres the deal. Last night me and my two room mates ordered pizza and we didn't finish it all. There was 1 whole pizza left and a bag and a half of bread sticks. Well I come home today and I look in the fridge and there is no pizza. I ask my room mate what happened and he said he threw it all away because it was more than a day old. WTF!!? Pizza does not go bad over night and even if you are stupid enough to believe that it does at least don't throw away my half.

When I was a resident, I saw one of the other guys eat a slice of pizza on a Monday that had sat out all weekend (unrefrigerated) since Friday at lunch.

Pizza will stay good in the fridge for several days.

Left over pizza is almost better than fresh pizza

Theres only one way to find out.

Order 5 or so pizzas, put them in the fridge and eat one slice per day starting at the 7th day of having them.

When you get sick tell us and then we'll know.

Probably not safe but I've eaten it as old as 3 or 4 days unrefrigerated.

tasted fine, felt fine afterwards.

If its in the fridge,In the box at least two days. After which it starts to dry out. I usually put them in ziplock bags and they are good at least a week.

I guess Im just pissed that I wasn't consulted before hand. You can smoke weed and get the cops called, you can crash your car and almost put me through the windshield, but please for the love of god don't take my pizza!

You get pizza and leave it out, you will finish it before it goes bad.  If it goes bad you failed because you should have eaten it quicker.

Based on this Pizza cannot go bad, but you can ruin it.

Out of the fridge 3 days is my limit.

That way Friday's pizza still sitting on the kitchen table is good when you come home from work on Monday.

Why would anyone eat anything else if there is pizza available?

Any pizza not eaten at night is breakfast the next day, cold.  If there's still some left over, then lunch, etc.

With the help of the microwave I've eaten unrefridgerated pizza that was a day old, but pizza in the fridge is fine for like a week. My buddy ate pizza that was sitting on the living room floor for a week. He was fine, but as always YMMV

Depends if you mean good as in safe, or retains freshness and taste

At least 4 days in the fridge for freshness. Probably 3-4+ weeks in the fridge would be safe.

I've eaten in after being left out ( not in fridge ) overnight and never got sick.

almost a week in the box

Wrap it up in a zip lock or clingwrap and you have edible (and tasty) pizza several weeks later.

Oll of this is provided there is nothing that will go bad on it.  Cheese and Peperoni will be good to eat three days after TEOTWAWKI

I know they good for at least a few days since i sometimes take that long to finish a pizza. At first i thought it would be a good idea to toss it in the fridge and then nuke it when i wanted it, yeah that is a bad idea, made it as hard as cardboard. I just leave it in the box now and nuke it when i want it and it is still good as long as its eaten within a few days before it starts to get stale.

I've never heard it stated better.

I've never had leftover Pizza last longer than three days. I've never refridgerated it either, just put the closed box into the oven. Worst thing that happens is the crust gets a bit hard.

ETA  Keep an eye on the roommates.  I wouldn't trust a man who threw out day old Pizza.

My rule is that it depends on the toppings...

Plain pepperoni...2 days unrefrigerated...if refrigerated then as long as there isn't any growth.

Taco pizza or w/ toppings that go bad (tomatoes/vegies) overnight unrefrigerated...2day refrigerated.

You can if you know how to do it.

30-40 seconds MAX for 2-3 slices.  Just enough to take the chill off and heat it through. (This is thin crust)
