I'm listening to a talk radio station and there have been a couple callers complaining that when then turn off the TV on one channel, and then turn the TV back on it defaults to the Obama channel. Are any of you folks seeing this. I can't believe he bought a channel to spew his crap. I did a search and found nothing. |

That's a user setting on the receiver. You can set the receiver to either come back on the channel it was last on, or to come on to a selected default channel. Someone in the home is probably screwing with them. I suppose it is possible that that setting could be adjusted remotely, but it's less likely. |

Dish users, if you hit "Menu" then "Favorites" You can custom program what channels go through when you push the up and down buttons to change channels on your box. I haven't seen the likes of ch 73, 101, 108, 124, 127, etc. in a few years now.  When you hit the "Guide" button more than once it cycles through "All Channels", "All Sub", "All HD", etc....once you setup your channels, you will have your own set on that list. I have a set, my wife has her set, and I have a set for sports only to find football games easier on Saturday. |
Same here. On my HD DVR in the "Movies Now & Showcases" section there is a "Paid for by Obama for America, 2 New/ 2 Total". The only way to get them off my DVR is to wait until they expire on 11/4. |
