Ok here is the deal, my buddy showed me a contest for a radio station he entered today and I was wanting to see if you guys could help me out. The back story is my bud is a great guy but has been going through a lot recently. His grandmother was hospitialized with alzheimers and his mom was the her primary caregiver. His mom found out she has cancer and probably has way less than a year to live. Now he is trying to help her out daily AND deal with all his grandmother's issues. Needless to say, his stress levels are high. He entered some online radio station deal and I think winning would be cool for him (gets some concert tickets and to pick the songs and stuff all day).
If anybody could go to the address below and vote for him I would be appreciative. I left it cold. The most votes I saw was 29, and I have seen the ability of the hive and know we can beat that. This goes to a later final runoff. Even if he doesnt win I bet he will think the amount of votes would be funny. http://www.krxo.com/Showcase/KRXOelections/View.aspx?ID=107396 <==left it cold Just to answer a few questions I know may come up: 1. my friend is real, this is not me 2. the picture is his grandmother in a witch hat, he thought it was funny 3. He doesn't know I posted anything about this Thanks all! UPDATE Thanks to everyone, my bud Bryan has made it to the finals. I think they re-vote on 11/4 or something then decide that day who won the "presidency". He was pretty pumped when he called. He finally changed his pic too from his grandma. http://www.krxo.com/krxoelections.aspx Thanks again, I'll update when I hear something. |
Thanks, I appreciate you guys helping. In the grand scheme of things it is minor but I think it would help him out a little to have some fun. He's got two kids and a wife and a great dad and is a great friend. His mom is single and he's helping her out and spending time with her and his grandmother all the time. Even if he doesn't win he's going to wonder where the heck the other votes came from. The power of the hive Thanks again all |
