I live in southeastern Virginia, and have a well-established lawn of centipedegrass.

Over the past week or so, I've been seeing granular dirt within the lawn, like ant hill dirt but throughout large sections of the lawn.  I don't see any ants or other insects.

Any idea what this may be?

Molecrickets

They have the ability to reall fuck up patches of your lawn if you have a good number of them.
