He does seem less than eager to offend. Just playing politics, I guess. It's a real close race, and I'm sure he is advised not to do anything that might create a stink. But that said, I don't believe we're getting a savior with either candidate with this election--we're screwed either way. But we're probably screwed a little bit less with McCain. |

The man has proven he has balls, and shame on you for saying he doesn't. John McCain served this nation in combat, putting his life on the line for America, more than proving his testicular fortitude. His problem is that in seeking the GOP nomination, he allowed the people who run that organization to lead him away from what he stood for as he built his political reputation. Everything he stood up for over the years to earn the title 'Maverick', he's thrown away for the sake of his ambition. |

Dude it just a question for discussion. I KNOW its not possible, man some of you guys............ have you even paid attention to what is going on? I hope you don't think I think he will seriously step down, its very frustrating to watch him self destruct his own campaign,....... one that I have given to and fought so hard for,........... and I get the dumbest thread of the day. You should have some coffee and turn the news on and watch the antics it really is pathetic. |

McCain did that because the people in the audience (I'm guessing you are referring to his statement being shown on the news this morning from the recent town hall style meeting) confessed they were scared of B.O. as president. JM is a true leader in the regard that he is concerned about his people. He heard the real fear in the room and was doing his best to let people know that they didn't need to be afraid, just concerned. There is a difference ya know? |

Yeah, not only have I been paying attention, I, unlike you, actually understand what's going on. What do you think would happen if McCain did what you seem to want him to do? Stand up in front of a crowd screaming about how Barack HUSSEIN Obama will destroy American and rape their daughters, unleash Sharia law on everyone and all that nonsense? About 5% of McCain voters, including you, apparently, would be yelling "Fuck yeah!", and the vast majority of everyone else would be completely repulsed by it. As someone mentioned above, McCain did exactly what he had to do when confronted by those folks at his rallies. He can't be seen as inciting fear or hatred of Obama. |

| Really we have no choice at this point. He better STEP UP or he's going to lose. Just imagine the damage Obama will do to this country in 4 years with a Liberal Democrat controlled House & Senate. Think Bill Clinton in 1993 except 100 times worse and we are in a lot worse economic shape now than we were then. Quite frankly it's starting to look like this is going to happen. Maybe America will have to endure the pain and damage and when we experience total collapse somebody can pick up the pieces. Sad that it seems to be heading towards that outcome. |
