I've been wanting to serve my country in the USAF for some time now, but I also want to go to school full time. I've looked at the VA ANG, and while it has the the best benefits, the positions open now are not my cup of tea. The enlisted jobs I want (2E1X1 or 2E1X3) are offered in the NC ANG and AL ANG, which both have good schools, but the benefits are much less than (NC) or pathetically minuscule (AL) compared to Virginia's. I also looked into AFROTC and, (while I'm also debating with myself regarding the officer vs. enlisted issue,) the main problem I have is that there is no guarantee that I can get a scholarship. I need to make this decision before I'm too old to actually join, and before I get too far ahead in school!  Any help/recommendations? (I'm 19 now.)
