| Where can I buy large amounts of Ice at once? |
a bathtub, thats it? just go to the any grocery or conveince store that sells ice by the bag. buy bags until it looks like you have enough to fill it up. |
+1 Sams club might sell it too if you're a member. The one by me did and it was super cheap compared to the regular grocery. |
A standard bathtub holds about 50 gals. of water minus about 150lb person about 25 10lbs bags should do it .
|
|
Regular tub or garden? Fiberglass/plastic or enamled iron? How long do you want to keep it filled? For a regular, 200 pounds is MORE than enough initially, figure on a melt rate of about 5 pounds per hour unless covered which should drop it to about 3 pounds per hour. More if the room is hot. Remember, friends help you move. Good friends help you move bodies. |
25 should do it but it will also depend on how much the stiff weighs...average person, 25 is fine. Add or subtract for really fat or really skinny people. |
My nation is willing to export large amounts of high quality ice for pennies to the pound. If you would like, I can put you in touch with my people. -Ben Ruler of Arfland |
![]() Out of control.......... |
Long live Arfland.......... ( Even if it does only have one not very exportable product as it's economy.) |
AHEM!!!!!! From earlier in the thread......

Well, it beats -GunNutJuell-'s idea about getting from the Eskimos. After all, AlGore said they were running out. ARFland still has it - in stock! |
