Survey Methods Results are based on telephone interviews with 1,011 national adults, aged 18 and older, conducted Sept. 26-27, 2008. For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points. Interviews are conducted with respondents on land-line telephones (for respondents with a land-line telephone) and cellular phones (for respondents who are cell-phone only). In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls. Copyright © 2008 Gallup, Inc. I fail to see how interviewing 1,101 Americans out of over 300,000,000 indicates anything at all but that pollsters can come up with creative interpretations. I mean that is just preposterous.
What a bunch of horse hockey. 95% confidence, who makes this shit up.

| tough for me to say where I am on him. domestically I think he's screwed the pooch, but internationally I think it was great we finally got a president willing to jab a stick in the eye of countries who would tell us what to do. And say what you will, he has ALWAYS stood by his warriors as commander in chief. |
I have to agree. We could do much better, but in today's political climate, you can't ask for much more. Sonsabitches. The whole lot of 'em. |
