When vodka tastes like water to me? I can pour a full glass and drink it like water. If anything, it tastes like slightly dirty water. Like faucet water, or something. I blame this on Russian family. ETA: Actually more Polish than Russian, but yeah. |
I haven't drank vodka for over 3 years. No joke. Been drinking nothing but whiskey and gin. 3 years ago I had trouble drinking it. Now it tastes like water. Not sure what that means. |
Maybe you're used to flavor with your booze. Vodka is bottled straight out of the still (after it's been purified if you swing that direction). |
I don't know about Vodka, but I can certainly polish off a bottle of Jameson pretty quick. I once drank a fifth of Rebel Yell in 30mins. (It was the night my grandfather died, so, thats my excuse.) |
Whiskey I just enjoy the flavor of. Vodka, I wouldn't say I enjoy. It has a rather unnoticeable flavor, but nothing to look forward to. A decent bottle of scotch, on the other hand, is absolutely delicious. |
