OMG that first answer sucked he sounded like he wanted to run out of there. What is going on? Seriously Obama objectively sounds strong and powerful McCain sounded like hell. And stop the fucking reaching out to Dems. Stop the Senator Kennedy. Jesus I HATE when GOP kisses Dem ass. And now he is doing the D Day letter. He has been saying that on the stump Goddamn McCain. |

| I think he's working too hard to play the "statesman" schtick and avoiding the appearance of being "mean" (his reputation in DC). Obama is staying on message and hitting all the talking points, as well as the usual lies. That's bad for the politically stupid, as they will buy it. |
I'm not seeing obama hit the points too much, he is just trying to appeal to the sheep. |

I think McCain is doing well now. I agree he started slow but he is on a roll now. Obama is spending way too much time on playing the blame game and is not talking about what he will do to fix the problem. Instead Obama just wants to blame Bush. If I hear the phrase " Wall street vs Main street" again I may just shoot my TV. |
TBK1 has it right. Debates are not about answering questions, they are about winning appeal. Obama so far has spoken better and landed better blows to those who say "baaa". |

I like McCain, but there are two items to judge a deabte by: What they are saying and how they are saying it. McCain I would argue is making decent arguments, but Obama is killing him in delivery. And unfortunatley, delivery is what it is all about. deabtes aren't about strong answers, you can answer with any soft non-commital thing you want. If you appear strong and decisive in your intonations, peoel trust you because they assuem you must actaully know what you are talking about. I predict a 2 point swing in favor of Obama when the polls come out tomorrow. |
