***If you don't like or support unions.. I really don't give a fuck***

Anyways... I'm in the electricians union, and we have work in a very, very bad part of Pittsburgh next week...

Do unions have laws about CCW on the job site?

The 'no guns on the jobsite' is part of my contractor's new employee orientation. Well, 10 yrs ago it was - guess it's still the same.

Then, there's the jobsite rules.

I'm currently working a .Gov job - actually it's a DHS bldg.  Security guards, photo IDs, gotta provide a birth cert, pass some kind of background check, etc.  The orientation for the GC also included the 'no guns on the jobsite' jibba jabba.

I play baseball, so always have an aluminum bat on board - along with glove and ball.

Backstop = IBEW Local 60.

ETA:

There is nothing in our Local By Laws prohibiting firearms.  Heck, I carry at monthly meetings - and I know a few guys that do also.  I go when overtime isn't eating my ass.
