Unions exist to protect unions. If you go against the grain too hard they'll make note. This rarely happens though, as eventually your brain gets assimilated into the collective. I'm in a union by requirement - I'm constantly lambasted by democratic bullshit, but I remain a staunch republican.... ...provided I get my 3% cost of living increase, benefits package, and renegotiated contract next year!!!  .......  ....shit....it's happening.

No. They can vote for whomever they want. FYI...there are a lot more closet republicans that run local unions and are union members than they will ever admit. I work for one of the largest construction trade associations in the country, and deal with the IBEW on a daily basis. These guys are hunters, shooters, outdoorsmen, church goers, that don't cotton to all of the radical left bullshit that's going on, and they damn sure don't march to the beat of the AFL-CIO vote democrat or die claptrap. The Dems will get a hefty union vote, but unlike blacks...it won't be 95% of them. Hax |
