I've been away drinkin' beer, pukin', waking up with hangovers, and drinkin' more beer to cure the hangovers. A piece of advise; don't mix Corona and Sam Adams. When you go to Mexico, stay there ! Don't try to come on back to the U.S. in the same night. Bet you all missed me.

Up until the early 1800's or so (or was it 1700's?  Too much beer...) beer was the most popular breakfast drink in America, until coffee took over.

Reminds me of my time at Canajun Immigration I was asked three questions, "Where are you arriving from" (I croaked out "Las Vegas", as my throat was pretty much toast from pouring vodka and ‘merkin cigarettes down it all weekend), "Were you travelling alone?" ("Yes"), and "Did you meet anyone there?" ("Yup" is all I could manage, but I *wanted* to say, "Honey, you have *no* fucking idea!") That last question still baffles me, but I don’t question people that have the authority to shine a flashlight up my ass.

If you read the label, you'll see most beers have the same ingredients as breakfast cereals. [%|]

Think it was more recent than that but (it may have been the Brits as well) but I recall from my history teacher him telling us that it was basically a poor mans way of keeping healthy.  They'd drink this beer that had all sorts of crud floating in it and they'd basically have a buzz on the way to work...

Geez,you guys are wimps.

I used to do tequila shots to get awake in the morning.  That would sustain me till 9 or so, then I had to start the Caffiene IV.

Guess what I'm having for breakfast?  Since all the fast food places aren't serving regular food, and I just got off of work, I'm having me a cold beer and a donut!  Perfect for the health-conscious rent-a-cop.  I'm in perfect shape.  It just happens to be that of a pear...

GUNSNOB,
I'm almost certain, considering the topic of your post, that you've heard "Beer for Breakfast" by the Replacements.
Could be your anthem. . .
