Not really, I suppose I'll make sure my muzzle loader is sighted in some time in November and dig out my hunting clothes.  I really don't wait with glee anticipating its arrival like some kid waiting for Christmas.  And as for bow season? No, last time I checked this was not the middle ages.

Mule Deer - season runs through Sept. 6.  So, unless I score venison early, on election night I will be out in the boondocks, with no TV, phone or internet!

If I get stopped at a gun confiscation checkpoint on the way back into town, I will know the outcome was bad.

Doves just aint here right now.

On the bright side, I had 3 flocks of turkey come into my bow stand, 38 birds mostly toms.

My father is my hunting buddy. Unfortunately, because of his health, I don't think we will be able to do much hunting this year.

Where is the "Getting ready? I've already killed something" option?

Squirrel season starts in MAY in MO

Dove deason opened on the 1st. Good amount of birds here, but too much water after the monsoons. Maybe better tomorrow.
Will do some quail hunting this winter, but that's about it since I didn't draw for elk or deer.

DUDE!

My hunting buddy and I just finished (a few hours ago) hanging 2 new ladder stands on some new property I got my hands on!

I also just bought a holster for my Thermacell online at Cabelas.

Psyched right now, big time.

I don't hunt, nor do I generally shoot living things that aren't going to (or have already) shoot at me.  More deer for you I guess.

Me neither, once I see what I'm hunting, for all intents and purposes it's already dead, my actions from that point are just mere technicalities.

Just got the duck decoys out and made sure they all had weights and strings.

Been working on a boat blind off and on for most of the summer (more off than on tho)

Will be heading up to my hunting grounds to check on my ladder stand next weekend.

Not in the last eight years , and I don't see it happening this year either .
Nothing against it , but it just got to be more of a chore then something
to enjoy , same goes for fishing . which I only managed to do once this year .

Not really sure why , but that's the way it's become for me
