Well Here is it...my first dinner picture...first the pictures, then the details:

and the closeup

Details:
Duck breast with a balsamic, honey and thyme reduction served with a baked potato and arugula/mixed green salad with gorgonzola cheese, ginger gold apple, and walnuts. Served with a bottle of Chateau La Papeterie 2000.

Colt Sporter Lightweight w/ A1 upper, Remington 870, Glock 19 w/ HST, Kershaw Unique Leek.

To help mitigate the potential snobbery of duck breast and French wine, I took all pictures on the living room floor and ate the meal in my bed without a napkin. Measuring device and stapler were intentionally omitted.

Great presentation and food looks great. -1 for no knapkin.

ETA: measureing device and stapler are for lame-o's. Dinner picks are guns and food only.

It would have been perfect except for the wine.  Down here in Texas we eat beef and drink beer.  Our side dishes are beef and beer.  Desert is another beer and beef if there's any left.  But, I suppose you yankees do it differently up there in New England.

Excellent food and nice wine 11/10.

-1 for no napkin
-1 for no tablecloth (a Bordeaux and duck breast is fancy enough for a tablecloth to be required).

well if it makes you feel any better I had a beer with it as well ....not a big beer snob but decided "Edmunt Fitzgerald" from Great Lakes Brewing Co. to be a good match as it's a porter.

         Great looking dinner!
Lightweight a1's are so plain vanilla but they sure shoot ,handle and ballance in a manner that has lead me to believe that the designers got it pretty much right the first time . Yeah I know that m4's are adapted to modern needs and uses but the 20" A1 is really a clasic .
I could give a crap about staplers and other foolishness but a man has to have something to wipe his mouth and hands with.

9.5 (-.5 for lack of napkin)

You pussies, you only use a napkin when you eat out.  When your home wipe your mouth on your shirt sleeve or shirt tale.
