I have been using it for 6 years, Yes ! It is the best IMO. Yes , It does throw up a banner on the "Free" version but thatis just the price you pay for using their free product.

You could just go to avast.com and download their antivirus, just register and it's is free, no ads. The free version doesn't let you schedule scans you just have to do them manually.
