I got the following message from a friend, and I need the PERFECT comeback to make her shut her mouth once and for all... "I understand that you consider yourself to be politically conservative but I don't think you should discount Obama before you know the issues. Here, I'll catch you up to speed... Obama's 4 year plan: To improve health care, education, government spending, social security, dependence on foreign oil and create new jobs which will, once again make America competitive in the global economy. (read the parts in red together. thats the problem) he also plans to tax the everloving shit out of everyone not on welfare to fund all his 'social initiatives'. he also wants to give more money to other countries, making us less competetive by putting others ahead of us. do a search on obana here in GD, lots of links to actual news about his policies, plenty of ammo. if i had a nickel for every anti-american scheme obama wants to implement, id own the lake city plant by now. ammo fort nothing, itd be an ammo castle. with moat. |

He reminds me of a kid running for class president, promising shit he can't deliver. "If you elect me I'll make summer 5 months long and get Coke machines in every classroom!" The part that scares me is the shit he CAN deliver, courtesy of our pocketbooks. Just ask the libtard if she can explain how he plans to do any of that stuff. Improve dependence on foreign oil how? Hmmmmm..... Even if McCain had cancer, heart diseaase, yellow fever, and sars....he would still have a better chance of accomplishing his plan than Obama. Or Even if McCain fails at his 4 year plan, he will still get more accomplished dead than Obama could even with Rev. Wright and Ayers helping him. |

Refer her to Thomas Sowell. Tell her to read a few of his columns or, better yet, one of his excellent books. He has a bachelor's degree in economics from Harvard University, a master's in economics from Columbia University, and a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago. He has been a professor of economics at Columbia University, Stanford University, and UCLA, and is a senior fellow in economics with the Hoover Institute. Dr. Sowell has torn Obama's "economic platform" to shreds with perfect and impeccable logic, point by point, and exposed it as the absolute pack of lies it is. Oh, and by the way, Dr. Sowell is black. |

Ask her how she will like paying all those extra taxes out of her paycheck to pay for others free healthcare. Everything is paid for directly or indirectly. Tell her hundreds of people die in car accidents each day......then tell her "don't die". Her argument sounds like a fourth grade argument. |

my reply: You are assuming that socialism will create improved health care, improved education, and improve government spending. False. Dependence on foreign oil will not be reduced by wishing real hard, waving a magic wand, and putting more air in our tires. Sorry. If he was serious he would stop blocking drilling. If you don't think America is competitive in the global economy, you have been living under a rock. We would be even stronger if the big government socialist nanny-staters would keep their grubby little paws out of the free-market. I for one believe in capitalism, freedom, and the United States constitution. I love my liberty. I love this country and what it stands for. Therefore I'll be voting for McCain. Thank you. |
Ask her to specify in great detail exactly how he will do these things and who will pay for it? Maybe she knows, because Obama sure as hell doesn't. You can sit around and make big promises too. Hell, as long as you are not expected to back it up with specifics, I suppose you can go ahead and promise her the moon. Ask her if she wants it delivered, or should you go ahead and take her there? |
