Just passing through. Haven't been online this late since finals week. Don't start work till 3PM tomorrow (eta: woops, I guess that is today) so I stayed up late and watched the 3.5 hour long extended cut of "American Gangster". Still wide awake....

GD is kind of like walking down main street in a small town at about this time (I've done so on a couple occasions). Everything is dead. No traffic. All the familiar haunts (like those 20+ page threads that you know will pick up in the morning) are still there, but nothings happening inside. Very quiet too, like nobody wants to say anything...

Dang, I think I might have insomnia.

I find that the night crew in GD actually resembles something civilized, though a bit crazy. Which I attribute to a mix of booze, sleep deprivation, and fewer mods.

At work, I can't see 90% of pictures, I can't go to auction/blog/pretty-much-anything sites, and I can't watch videos/flash animations.  When my shift is over I can go to the MWR to check things out that I wasn't able to here, but the internet is freakin' SLOW.  It's faster early in the morining (3-4ish) when the computer room is almost empty.
