Too good to pass up

ERWYN HEIGHTS, Md.(AP) Police in Maryland have cleared a small-town mayor and his wife of any wrongdoing in a drug raid on their home in which two of their dogs were killed.

Prince George's County Police Chief Melvin High said on Friday that Berwyn Heights Mayor Cheye (SHY) Calvo was an innocent victim of a smuggling scheme.

Police raided his home July 29 after intercepting a FedEx package addressed there containing 32 pounds of marijuana. Officers kicked down the door and shot the dogs, saying they were threatening.

Police say the package was sent to the home by smugglers with the intention of having a courier pick it up quickly afterward. Two suspects have been charged in the scheme.

The FBI is investigating whether the couple's civil rights were violated.

I recall during my USMC days that we used to shoot at "Dog" targets. I had no idea we shared targets with the police academy!!!

I heard Savage talking about this today, Really, how scary are a couple of labs anyway. Obviously those cops don't know shit about dogs or are afraid of them in general
