I have a Heritage safe. I left it on the pallet and had it bolted to the floor. In case we move. The pallet will help to move it the next time. It has holes in the base-the safe- to attach bolts and seal them to put in a de-humidifier.

What a about a safety deposit box in a bank? The total weight of the bank exceeds anything you can purchase and evan earthquakes don't seem to move Uncle Sam's FDIC. Good luck

i dunno actually its for a freind, I told him not to spend 3500$. I was trying to offer him alternatives, that were better.

I can't recall the name of the company, but there is an excellent and expensive safe made near Cincinnati, OH. A friend of mine is a stamp collector and he has one of these. Call the Collectibles Insurance people and ask who they recommend.
