| Some norwich alumni friends of mine are thinking of starting up a PMC. They are all younger than 30 and have no military experience. The want to do security as well as technical (computer) type stuff (they would be hiring people not doing it themselves). They would potentially have connections when it comes to finding very qualified employees but I am trying to talk them out of it (there are many already, they have been recieving bad press, etc). Do you all think it is feasible? |
It would seem to me that the best way to be successful would be if they partnered with someone with experience in the PMC biz. Otherwise they are reliant upon employees to know what's up. Once the employees figure that out, they either want a piece of the action, or leave and start their own. At least that's how it seems to work in the "normal" start-up world. |
