Did you see the movie 'Crank' with the same actor (I forget his name)? It was pretty good. Different, but good.

Yeah, what was bad about it? I am a Jason Statham fan, but War was kind of a disappointment.

We did too. I always wonder what people actually expect from a movie. It's a couple of hours of escape from everyday crap. That thing that cuts through reinforced concrete is a bad mofo! (If it's real!)

Because the first 20 minutes are designed to turn the protagonist into some sort of "good guy", being set up by "the man" who is inherently immoral and corrupt.

Bullshit. He isn't breaking into a bank because he's some sort of moral crusader. He's breaking into the bank because he wants to take shit that doesn't belong to him.

At least be fucking up-front about it.

It was good, just not any real gun play.
As Americans it seems to be what we expect from a bank robbery movie.

Started very slow but ended pretty well. I was surprised to hear it was a true story.
