Yeah, I had a jammomatic SAW....... until I had the armorer replace the bad extractor and it NEVER jammed again. |
I've shot both (Sort of.) The 240 I'm pretty sure wish a M240G with the spade grips. It was mounted on some sort of long range post mount where you could dial in the elevation and traverse. That kind of sucked because it was pretty much locked in and it wasn't as fun as a pintle mount where you can swing it around all over the place. When I shot the M249, it was way more fun since it was cheaper to shoot, Had a fairly high rate of fire and I was able to prone out with it and also shoot it off-hand. I've shot an MG42 in a pintle that you could swing all over the place. That was neat, but the rate of fire was so fast, that 50rounds gone in a few seconds. If you can, try and shoot some .22lr machine guns. Especially if they have cans. They sound like sewing machines. Super fun and cheap! Also, shoot a suppressed MP5 or an integrally suppressed MP5SD. Stay away from the MP5K, the one I shot was a jam-o-matic. |
