[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SHTF Provisions??

In tandem with the "SHTF Shelter" post, what kind of provisions should you have ready? Hers's my short list of absolute essentials:
Weapons and ammo (lots!)
canned food, MRE's,sterno, etc.
As much water as you can store
candles, battery operated radio
warm clothing, medicines,fuel.
Any other ideas?

Good booze... not for you but for barter... booze, sex, and .22lr ammo will barter very nicely... you can stock up on extra .22 ammo and Jack Daniels, I'll leave the sex portion of the barter system up to you... [:D]

Rich314...gas/fuel are same thing.
Booze is a good idea, and can also be used to sterilize a wound. About sex: if you saw the women around here, you'd hope they were lost in the attack!
Any more ideas???

tobacco and coffee will barter nicely as well. For the long term, salt and sugar as well.
