I need a few non-critical items - mag cinches, add-on rails and what not, so I feel like they are "good enough," but what about flip up BUIS?

Cheap usually means low quality.  Is this the case with Leapers?

If so, I'll buy some items, but go for quality on the BUIS for instance.

Opinions welcome.

Thanks

The biggest problem I've noticed with all their gear is that anywhere there is an attachment (like screws) they are very weak, cheap, strip easily, etc.

I'm all for saving money, but I'd honestly stay away from that crap - save your money, get a few things at a time when you can afford them.

"Leapers Quality"

Oxymoron.

What are you trying to do with it ?  Are you using it as a cheap range sight on a beater AR, or is this for a serious go-to SHTF AR ?

Mag cinch breaks - load another mag.
Rail for VFG breaks - go without.

I have a nylon rifle case from them that's decent.  As far as stuff that attaches to the weapon itself, don't bother.

Some of their stuff is poorly designed crap, perhaps all of it has weak hardware (screws, zippers, stitching, etc.).

However, I just received a UTG (Leapers, IIRC) railed handgaurd for my mforgery.  Fit and finish was very nice.

The included rail covers alone are worth at least $40, making the net price only $19.  I'd say that this compares quite favorably with the glamour brands.  10% of the cost; 99% of the functionality.

Saved enough money to purchase 1000 Hornady 75gr BTHP projos to run through the reloading press.
