I say BOYCOTT. |
NO but Americans are going to lose their jobs. That company is known to buy and cut |
| Never drank it anyway. With all the quality beer and ale on the market, why anyone would drink Bud, or any of the other mass produced piss water that passes itself off as beer these days just amazes me. Expand your horizons, taste test some of the beer coming from the microbreweries these days, your grocery store shelves are filled with it, your taste buds will thank you. |
+ 1 I tried it once and and couldnt believe how piss-weak it was. And it tasted terrible. But Sam Adams, now there is a fantastic American brew. Top drop. |
This is an old review of Budwiser I found on line, its sure to piss some people off but its pretty damn funny too. Makes me laugh while I drink my Guinness.

They tried to fight it, but with the value of the euro vs. the American Peso there was no way to win. Europeans should buy the NFL just to show us what's what with our fucked up currency. |
|
screw the NFL. Hopefully they will buy NASCAR and make it INTERESTING. i love racing; drag racing, formula 1, Rally, Enduro, Baja, la mans, They are all fun to watch because they are all INTERESTING. in NASCAR all that happens are left hand turns...and then they get POINTS? the only time i ever watch NASCAR is if it happens to be on a road track. i think its HILARIOUS to watch 3/4 of the drivers wreck on nearly every right hand turn LOL |
I see that you're from Quebec, so I guess your not having the faintest idea what "free market" means can be forgiven, for the moment. ETA: Just joking around. Would've said the same thing if you were from Ohio, or Arkansas, or northern Upper Bumdumbourge.Y'see, a "free market" is one in which "buyers" and "sellers" come together and make deals "voluntarily". One guy who used to drink Bud but is voluntarily deciding not to because what he sees as an especially American brand is being purchased by foreigners is exactly in keeping with this "free market". Now, if he had called for massive import tariffs on beer produced by foreign-held corporations, or if he had demanded government action to keep Budweiser from being purchased, those things would not be in keeping with the ideals of a free market. On the other hand, he's calling for other Bud drinkers to voluntarily boycott foreign-held Budweiser. You could debate the effectiveness of this strategy, or you could debate his reasoning, but claiming that his proposed boycott is in any way not in keeping with the ideals of a free market is silliness. Stop making stuff up. ~BakerMike |
