where the F* do these people come from? |
But I thought they had banned guns??? how do all those gun crimes happen when the guns are banned???? don't the guns know they are illegal???? |
6 feet under at Meigs Field. ![]() City officials expressed confidence the city would prevail in any court challenge, asserting, among other things, that the 2nd Amendment as part of the Bill of Rights restricts the federal government and does not apply to state and local governments. Farking loons.

Fuck those two windbags. I love the way they just talk out of their asses when CCW is proven to reduce crime. Yeah Daley its the wild wild west again you jack off. Blago and Daleys days are numbered. Lapierre said they were filing lawsuits against Shitcago and all the surrounding townships as of yesterday morning. Hear that bitches??? It's the sound of Freedom! |
He may be right on that point. Read footnote 23 of the Heller opinion. |
Jagoff. It's spelled/pronounced jagoff. |
These people belive that the US Constitution does NOT apply to the citizens living in their little city??? Does that mean Chicago is not a part of the United States? Do they get Federal Money for anything? Do their Citizens have to apply for a Visa to visit the rest of the US? |
I'm going to print the PDF this evening. Would this mean the 1st Amendment doesn't apply to state and local governments? Could they establish the "1st Church of Alabama"? It would be Baptist and only we Methodists are going to heaven. |
Slavery is now legal in Chicago! Women can't vote in Chicago! Poll taxes in Chicago! |
Yeah, my neighbor does. And he usually is walking around with it when he calls us at 2:00AM about someone prowling around looking for something to steal. I've got no problem with it. He's a really good guy. I'd prefer that everyone owned an AR15 but it is the Land of the Free and everyone gets to make their own choices. |
Does he really think this is happening in the rest of the country? In my six years as a cop I have never come across someone who commited a gun crime that had a valid pistol permit. |
What he really does not want anyone to do is to compare old West murder stats to Chicago's murder stats today. Someone cited the numbers a while back, and you'd be much safer in the "Old West" than in "Modern Chicago". |
Yeah, that INDIVIDUAL right only applies to the Fed when ALL the others are universal. Good luck making THAT stick, asshole! |
|
Let him fright tooth and nail. The harder he fights, the worse off it's going to end for him. The Courts have spoken here and the harder you push them at this time to define what is reasonable is not going to be the answer these liberals want to hear. If he were smart he'd simply lift the ban on handguns, keep licensing and registration and quietly hope no more suits will be brought up. |
| They recently debated reopening their gun registration. All because Alderman Dick Mell forgot to reregister his. Chicago's gun registration works like this. The guns had to be registered before the ban was put in place. They have to be reregistered every year. If you miss the registration date, you're SOL. If your FOID lapses, you're SOL. |
no he's not right. the DC ban was a city ban. It was gutted like a pig. |
|
That's the problem with "home rule". It just lets every little petty tyrant think they rule the world. This just could be the deal that finally gets him unelected. He's going to waste enormous amounts of money fighting courts cases that he can't win. Sure he might win at the local level but once it hits the district court of appeals its all over. SCOTUS just told all the shitbags at the district level they were wrong. Now they have to fall into step with the decision. I look for some old cases to get reopened out of this deal. Hmmmm...does this mean the Caly DOJ list of allowable guns is null and void. I mean, after all if the particular gun you want isn't listed that means its banned, right. ![]() "Thou shalt not ban an entire class of arms in common use" What's that old Chinese curse...May you have an interesting life. I think life just got real interesting for the gun grabbers at all levels. |
Hell no, I should have them! Well the Uzi anyways; you can keep the AK47. ![]() Hopefully as these cases against Chicago progress, light will be shed on how they got around the Illinois Constitution's RKBA clause. I have never figured out (or researched for that matter) how the Illinois Legislature was able to pass all those restrictive gun-control measures without running afoul of it's constitutional RKBA clause. |
Daleys not going anywhere, anytime soon, and to add to it, i see his brother being the next gov. it sure is fun seeing Daley wine like a bitch all over the news i cant wait for the whole "wild wild west" thing to happen, this should be fun |
No, he's not. Footnote 23 points out that the Court in Cruikshank in 1875 refused to extend the Second to the states via the 14th, just as they also refused to extend the First against the states at that time. Since the First now is incorporated against the states, and Scalia in multiple points in the opinion ties the First and Second closely together, it seems a rather broad hint at where the Court is headed next. |
