Or maybe they'll wait again.

They aren't bound to release an opinion in this session are they? Can't they wait as long as they want to release an opinion?

I know in some cases lower courts have waited years to release an opinion.

[T]here is no need to deceive ourselves as to what the original Second Amendment said and meant. Of course, properly understood, it is no limitation upon arms control by the states.

I won't lie.  That quote from Scalia's book made me throw up a little in my mouth. . .

Well, absent incorporation under the 14th amendment, he's absolutely correct.

And Scalia hasn't been an enemy of incorporation, if my understanding is correct.

If the 2nd gets incorporated, that would be an incredible ruling.

That can't happen in this case, as there is no state question...

Incorporation is a question for John Doe vs City of Chicago... Or whatever it will be called when they do it....

That was the reason Gura MADE this case, To avoid the whole incorperation mess.

Wouldn't surprise me if "Mr. Gun Guy Vs. City of Chicago" is already drafted just waiting for the finishing touches on someones desk , waiting on the ruling...

Honestly it Would not surprise me if " Mr Eye Wanna Funswitch vs. ATF " is not half drafted either.

Which probably will happen, since the 2nd more than adequately meets the 3 conditions for incorporation.
