I recently sold my 02 jeep wrangler. 4" lift rubicon wheels with toyo MT 33's and both tops. it had less than 70K miles on her. a really reliable on/off road jeep.

This young gentleman comes to look at it. with his "mechanic" who was all of about 19. So the mechanic is crawling all over this thing like a mall ninja at the door of the local walmart.

They take it for a drive and the "mechanic" give the dude the NOD. He says gotta call my wife and off he goes. 1/2 hour later he calls back and says he is commig with a cashiers check. So I empty the jeep of my things. he signs the bill of sale and I cash the check.

Now for the good part. about 945 that night he calls and says his wife dosent like it and can we UNDO the deal. I am like WFT? its a sweet ride I figure he has buyer remorse and give him the deals a deal. After all I cashed the cashiers check and paid the loan. I still wonder what he was trying to pull. what would you have done? BTW my 08 4 door wrangler is the shit

Deal is done.  If he wanted to back out, he had plenty of time before he signed the check and took delivery.

Maybe he needed some parts to fix his jeep..... swapped them from your jeep and now will return your jeep with his worn out parts.

His mechanic said they would fit.

+1

unless YOU want your old jeep back, its his problem (w/ his wife)...not YOURS; deal is a deal
