Anyone know what to look for on a pre versus post-ban Bushmaster lower?  I have an opportunity to buy a new Bushmaster lower (stripped) for $150, but I'm not educated in the differences.  Certain range of serial numbers? Different markings on the post bans?

Thanks for any help.

Eddie

P.S.  If anyone is interested, the guy as two.

Go to the B/M site and email them the model and serial number.  Takes two or three days for them to get back with you.
From the price, the lower is almost certainly post-ban.

BM below L050888 is preban
BM from L050889 to L063282 requires verification letter.
Above L063283 is postban.
These are fairly solid numbers.

I was under the impression anything under L063 required verification.  I bought a Pre Ban Bushy about a year ago, L037, and it came with a verification letter.  Interestly, L037 was a late 1993 model.  I figured L037 would have been well before the ban if L063 was the cut off.  Does anyone know when Sendra became Bushmaster?
