I bring you intrigue from the former Soviet Union and current Russian militaria.  Perhaps the finest weapons ever produced, the most reliable of any combat arms fielded by any military.

To be precise, the "most reliable" combat arms fielded by a military are almost certainly bolt action rifles (like a Mauser or Enfield design) and revolvers.  Semi-auto or full-auto weapons are far too mechanically complicated to have the reliability of a bolt action or revolver.

I'm know I'm being technical  - nice vids.

Why do those videos have soft core porn music playing in the background?

I like commie guns too.

I don't know why they have that kind of music, must be a Russian thing.

I think the "most reliable" are those which are the most maintained.  If a rifle often needs maintenance and always gets maintenance, it is reliable.  If a rifle seldom needs maintenance and NEVER gets maintenance, it is unreliable.

yeah, i'm being even pickier.

I guess, if we push the technicality to the extreme, a mace or club would be the MOST reliable combat weapon ever fielded by a military.

I was looking for some more vids on the heavy belt fed weapons and some of the belt fed grenade launchers.
