Alright, I'll admit I'm a little strange... Some of you just hate me to death... But I like the movie "They Live..." The one with, i think its Roddy Piper, the wrestler dude? Come on, I'm not the only one... It fits the whole "government conspiracy forced compliance" thing philosophy... ...with aliens mixed in... Who else is watching it? Come on, admit it... Sadly this is one movie I have not seen. I have only seen clips from you tube and as mentioned above the South Park cripple fight reference. For whatever reason, I am going to have to give a stern talking to, to the hot young ladies at Family Video to get a copy of this movie. |
80's B movie with a washed up WWF wrestler who can't act. IMO wasn't a great movie, but better then The HAppening.

Yeah, John Carpenter is a strange cat. He's not a consistent director - some movies are great (Prince of Darkness, the Thing, others) and some are not - but this movie is not even consistently good within itself...! And like you said, "yet I love it"
