Well I've been awaiting the release of the new Iphone as I think it'll best fit what I want out of a pda/phone/web browser(so I can keep tabs on you all). I've been with Verizon for over 10 years now and have just gotten tired of the carrot in front of your nose crap that never pans out well for me. I currently have a Razor2 something that when I bought it I paid a crap load from Verizon and did a 2 year agreement. That contract is way over now and with the impending Iphone release their pushing harder for me to renew. Oh did I say that 3 weeks after i bought my razor they started offering it for $50. I paid $200. They wouldn't give me any compensation so I said I'd make a move when my contract was up. I've been waiting for the new Iphone as I've mentioned. Another piece of the puzzle is I am almost convinced to give up my home phone now to help offset the cost of the data plan. However I've had this same home phone number since I was a kid.... yes that long. I have concerns of people from my past not being able to find me ...... the ones I don't mind finding me. I really don't have much of any family ties that they could go through to find me. I just don't use that phone much any more. However my broadband is DSL in which I'm thinking of going to cable for that. I now can keep my same cell number if I switch from Verizon to ATT correct? How long of a cut over time is there? What would I need to do? Your thoughts on the whole thing.... comments?? |
