What-all drugs does the typical drug dog detect and respond to? Do they hit on prescription opioids ?

My neighbor's K-9 doesn't hit on pills, but on pot, cocain, and heroin she is a bad ass mofo

Good question. Not that I've ever been searched, but in my briefcase along with my regular BP meds I carry 1-5 tylenol 3's as I get some nasty back pain every now and then.

I am not an expert but I highly doubt they would hit on prescription painkillers.
