I know this guy. I understand he has a prior tractor-involved DUI where he was allegedly captured after pursuit. This is an interesting one as well:



GALESBURG — A man was arrested Monday evening after allegedly driving a tractor in town while intoxicated and crashing into an SUV.

According to police reports, Scott D. Price, 48, 1740 282nd Ave., was operating a New Holland tractor with a hay loader on the front at about 9:50 p.m. Monday. Gregory Lewis, 1199 E. Fremont St. told police his vehicle was struck by two spears on the front of the tractor at the intersection of Henderson and Main streets. Price then left the scene, according to reports.

Police were told the tractor was seen traveling through yards near Bridge and Frank streets. The tractor later was located by Warren County Sheriff’s Department deputies on Angling Road.

Price was arrested for felony DUI, aggravated DUI, felony driving with a revoked license, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to yield. He is being held in the Knox County jail awaiting a bond hearing Tuesday.

One of my former LT's arrested a guy for DUI on a tractor. Pulled the guy over, figured out he was drunk, told him to take it home by driving through an ochard, LT pulls off, the guy gets right back on the road again instead of going home like he was told to do.

Tractor DUI is serious stuff.  In the last few weeks, a farmer out here pulled onto a busy highway at night with no lights on while DUI.  An elderly couple couldn't stop in time and one of them was killed after they rear ended the tractor and a disc came through the windshield and hit one of them.
