Background A week ago I twisted my ankle bad and they but me in a soft cast to give me some stability to my ankle till it heals. Today my foot felt funny and I took off the cast/brace and sock and my foot is swollen and it tingles. I am going to the urgent care tomorrow but what can it be? |
Sounds like a twisted ankle  j/k. There are lots of causes of acute swelling...DVT, compartment syn., occult fxs, cellulitis, etc. You need to just have someone physically examine you for proper diagnosis. Best of luck. |
