Which video hosting service allows you to upload videos for free, and can create links to forums with the video actually "imprinted" into the post?

If you mean "embedded" then I think Tinypic is what you seek.

you tube can do it, but the forum has to allow such code to be used (arfcom does not).

I've seen some people able to do it with shooting vids. :shrugs:

You can do it with Photobucket......  I believe it still links a still from the vid, but I have imbedded with youtube.  Either one works depending on what the site allows.

So when you link the video into the post, it displays the first image of the video? Then the user clicks the video, and it runs it in photobucket?

Yes, or a random image from the video I'm not sure.  But yes it opens a new Tab or Window and plays it in Photobucket.  Which is relatively fast.
