Wow. Just heard on the news that the Militarily controlled Myamer is now ready to start receiving some aid from other countries.  Just not from the US!!!. I say the hell with them. If thats how they feel don't offer again.

The Sun is reporting that there could be upwards of 500,000 killed between the storm and the coming disease... this, of course, would dwarf the death toll of the tsunami.


Too bad it didn't happen to Indonesia instead.

Well if they(the gov) does not want help, and are not willing to be helped, then we should not help.

Its bad that the people are not getting the help they need, but at the same time, maybe this will get the people to fight their Gov. Some times it takes some thing like this to force change.

I say F em. Go in and drop food and supplies to their people. Not just food  but weapons ammo and training. Tell them that their own government said they didn't deserve the aid we provided and show them how to take out said government.
