A sheep rancher installed this electric fence to keep out predators.
There is one in his belly.
The cables are 10" apart. Gadzooks...

Since when is electric fence wire tied directly to metal stakes without insulators?

I remember this picture from more than a year ago.
It is one of a few that shows the entire snake.

EDIT:  MTUSA posted another since I started typing.
And it the additional pic shows insulators.

That's one pissed snake.

I'd be getting ten people with shotguns with bear slugs. You would not want that bastard getting free with anything living in range.

It looks like there are several rows of wire.  The 2 farthest back on the snake have insulators.  In very dry climates they will use ground wires instead of relying on ground moisture to conduct electricity

Do you think the breaker  tripped?

I don't think the main fence has a current running through it.

Seem to be the wires running parallel to the main fence that are electric.

Looks like he just ate too, but I am no expert on snakes from hell either.

Dam, that would really ruin your day.  Those things need to be killed off.

Whole wardrobe in that one, boots, belt, holster and matching jacket, and a bonus for no bullet holes. I'd skinned him out on the spot.
