Bump: Really no one here has played with the FN in 45acp? Its made in America, has an exposed hammer, FN has really good quality, and no one has shot or played with one....guess I'll have to go to a funshow and check one out as an alt. to the HK45

Try the FN forum in the handgun section.

FYI I don't have the FNP 45 but do have the 9mm. It is a great little pistol.

I enjoy my FNP-9 more than any other pistol for what its worth.

It also comes with 3 14 rnd mags, and its under $500 bux on GB...just looking for some first hand experiences w them.

They are rather large. Definitely a offensive type weapon. If I had a 1911, that would be my next pistol purchase.

For the record, I have a FNP9 and I am pleased.

This will be my next firearm purchase when I can find one with the safety rather than decocker. There are also 15 round mags available.

RIGHT NOW, the only DA/SA models that have a safety will be the USG version. It has a manual safety+decoker, and a FDE frame. I think that just came out this month.

Down the road, all the DA/SA will come standard with a manual safety. So if you don't want the FDE frame, you'll have to wait.
