How many of you actually cook their food in the microwave? I myself don’t even like to warm food up in a microwave. I think it makes the food taste different, at least I could taste a difference. Can anyone else taste the difference or is it just me? From, Joe…. |
+1 I don't think I've ever had anything good come out of the microwave that was completely cooked in there, just OK. Good for leftovers/frozen veggies/salsa con queso/defrosting in general but that's it. |

It's very good at steaming veggies. I also use it to melt cheese and butter, heat liquids, and warm leftovers (but not fried foods). It's also good for warming up flour tortillas. I will also use it to jump-start meat defrosting if I'm in a hurry. Ground meat and chicken. Never steaks. |
