Well if yoy have a tank you can check out this site. It has a lot of useful info on how to start/maintain a tank. Sorry if something like this has already been covered.

I keep African Cichlids, it's not too hard...just gotta watch the PH.  Not too sure about guppies.

when I saw the title, I thought you meant eating fish (stop...) like haddock, trout. My mistake.

Someday when my schedule is more normal I'd like to get a nice saltwater setup

Fish tanks are great. I find them very calming

My family has a few fish. Mostly my mom's. We have a tank inside with nothing exotic, and outside in our backyard we have a koi pond that I made for my mom 2 or 3 summers ago. We bought an underwater heater before last winter so the pond wouldn't freeze over and so we could keep the fish outside. Worked like a charm - all fish survived the long snowy winter

I have a pond and catch fish all the time.  Mostly bluegill and bass (cichlids I believe).
