I'd get that single shot lowert from DPMS. A mag well on a .50 upper is kinda like tits on a boar.

What is a ferret50 upper? is it a .50 BMG upper?

Regarding the link above for the 50BMG, is that upper "legal" to put on a post-ban lower? Yes. It has no evil features. Your milage may vary depending on your states laws but there are no current federal laws (that I am aware of) prohibiting it. |

From the ALS 50 page (thanks for the link!) We do not recommend using pre-ban lower receivers based purely on their higher market value. |

Here is where I found my best price. Prices have recently gone up. I was lucky enough to get the 36 inch barrel for less than they are currently advertising the 18 inch version.
