How do I save the completed form?

I can fill in and print, but I have to save a blank copy.

Try using the Foxit Reader, see if that helps.  Sometimes the security just doesn't allow saving.

You may also be able to use something like PrimoPDF to print the completed form to a completely static .pdf file.

Most PDF fill-in forms are meant to be filled in and printed, not saved.

Do you have Adobe Acrobat Reader or the Full Version?

If just the reader you won't be able to save it as a filled in document.

Have you tried going to file and doing a Save As and renaming it?

If you only need a copy for future reference, try taking a screen shot then saving that as a .jpg.

I use PDFConverter to turn them into Word files, do what I need to do, then print with PrimoPDF to save them back as locked PDF files.

I have an older version and it works like a charm.  I've been able to do as I please with all of the PDFs I've come across so far.
