I'm looking for some target stands that are easy to store(fold, small).  Anyone know a good place to get a couple?

I bought a plate off that guy and he took forever. I finally had to call his house.

I keep it in the box they shipped it in. Which is 18x6x3.

I didn't have any problems.

Old Painless had a thread on here a while back on how to make your own out of PVC. I'll try to find it.

I made a bunch like this one for the WAHTF LCR shoot.

(This is stolen from Old Painless)

Each stand required a 10 ft piece of 1" PVC and two T-fittings.

Cut each piece of PVC into 6 20" long segments.

I've been considering adding two more T-fittings and a cross piece to connect the two sides together.

I paid $1.47 for each 10 ft 1" PVC and $.47 each for the T-fittings.

I'm thinking about filling the legs with sand and plugging the ends, to give it a bit more stability.

But that increases it weight for transport, which becomes a factor with 16 of them.

BTW, all of the pieces for 16 of these (96 20" long PVC and 32 T-fittings) fit in a surplus pilots gear bag.

These are on every other street corner.  They sell pizza, politicians, and other crap.

Thanks for the link.

Two 90's should be cheaper than the T-fittings I was thinking about.

The picture I was working off of didn't show the part that connected the two halves.

+1 on PVC.

Sand in the feet keeps it up in wind.
