I,ve watched the price of gas skyrocket in the past few years. People complain but the price continues to rise. Some members of the govt. call for hearings but the price continues to rise. Since the govt.(local and fed.) get a hefty piece(tax) of each dollar we spend on gas and how our county is deeply in debt at this time, couldn't an arguement be made that the govt.doesn't want lower prices. Less tax revenue. thoughts? Roy |
