The average liberal is a never married single mother living on welfare in government housing, fed by food stamps and totally funded by taxes paid by conservatives. This average liberal dropped out of high school, was 'placed' from grade to grade before high school, never did her own work in school but copied everything. She knows almost nothing and has a very low effective IQ and a low gross IQ too. If a liberal goes to college or a university he or she will seek out the easiest, least rigorous course of study whose content is nothing more than nonsense and bullshit somebody just made up. liberals will avoid difficult majors, where there actually are correct answers, like the plague. If a liberal actually graduates from a college or university there will be no jobs open for them and they will be forced to go to law school so they may eventually find employment or the liberal will stay at the university 'forever' and then try to get a teaching job instead of a 'real job', you know a real job...like at Exxon or Chevron or ..... That's who these liberals are, the very bottom of the intellectual barrel. Never forget it. Never forget they are mentally inferior to normal people. (note: There actually are a few college and university instructors who are not liberals and for who teaching actually is a real job.) (also note: The majority of college and university graduates are conservative Republicans.) |

I have a friend who is VERY left wing. She has been in school her whole adult life, though she is a math major, so the whole "easiest course available" thing does not apply with her. My wife is a moderate leaning right and a Jr High math teacher. That is a real job. I would rather work in hard labor than teach Jr High. |
Most liberals I know are better educated than most conservatives I know.

Couldn't agree more. No offense - but I'm a strong believer that the average human, regardless of being conservative or liberal, is a fucking retard. Myself included, of course. I've met just as many retarded conservatives as I've met retarded liberals. The reason I'm a conservative, however, is that when it comes to non-retarded formulation of conservative beliefs vs non-retarded formation of liberal beliefs, I maintain that the conservative view is superior. |

QFT. That thing is stupid. My Super Left Wing colleague has 3 PhD's and 4 masters degrees. ALL in hard research sciences, mainly geophysics. Some of the hard core "conservative" people I know have barely more than high school education. Your post is BS. |

I guess you guys would consider me a liberal. I will vote Dem in November. Abougt me, I'm married, have kids, a house (that I can actually afford) and a job. My fluff degree is in math. May I add what the average conservative is? Tit for tat. | I think it's more of the opposite. You're average liberal most likely has lived a very sheltered life. You won't find many blue collar liberals. Most are folks who spend the majority of there young lives inside an institution or at home being pampered instead of experiencing the "real world". Liberals usually lack common sense one would normally develop from experience. |

Whereas calling people names is always a sign of great intellect, right?  The fact is (just in case anyone is actually interested in facts in thsi thread) that there is a general correlation between education level and success in life. In general, the more educated people are, the more successful they are, the more money they make, and the more they contribute to society. Does education make someone "smart"? Of course not. We can all think of examples of people with worthless degrees that are morons, or just have no common sense. But, "smart" people tend to get an education, because they understand the value of it. It's not a coincidence that most people who are designing rockets, searching for cancer cures, developing new materials, leading large corporations, etc - almost invariably (barring the rare exception) are highly educated people. |

The average conservative is a computer commando who lives in his parents basement, has a GED (barely), cannot differentiate between "lose" and "loose", and makes wildly inaccurate sweeping generalizations about things he knows nothing about. |

Although you will find HUGE numbers of blue-collar Democrats (which at least overlaps with "liberal") depending on definitions. The bedrock of Hillary's support in the Pennsylvania primary is expected to come from working-class blue-collar people (presumably union, but still blue-collar). I knew many blue-collar people in rural Missouri who were basically Democrats on all their issues, EXCEPT for abortion - which was why they always voted Republican. If an anti-abortion Democrat were ever to run, he/she would get a big chunk of the blue-collar vote. |
