Click on Search at the top of the thread.  You can type in the user name in the search box.  Below the search box check "Topic Authors" and "Reply Authors"  Then click search.

Hmmmm.... I am not sure.  YOu might want to post a link in the Tech Support forum with a link to this thread.  Site staff might see it better without it getting buried under all of the threads here in GD.

Non-Team members cannot search GD.

Any staff or mod or Team member will be happy to help you, however.  What are you looking for?

Welcome to the site, BTW.

thanks tbk, what i wanted to be able to do is... lets say i make offers to 3 different people for mags they are selling. they all respond. I have no way of being able to tell which ones were theirs. another website I go to allows to just click on the persons name and it will show their current posts...was wondering how I could do something like that. it seems like i have to do a search with the authors name, but i guess if i'm not a "member" i cannot access that function...is that correct? is there a way to do this that i haven't figured out yet?  thanks again!

There is no easy way for non-members.  The best thing I can think of is to have you just put the various threads in your "Favorites" of your computer--quick and easy way to get back to it and compare screen names of those who reply.

Do you have a "Subscribe to Thread" button visible?  If so that is another way to keep track.  I can't remember if that is available to regular members or not.  If so, that will do the same thing.
