I have used this for quite some time, and I like it alot!  No BS software bundled with it.

Sure avg, I found another one that catches stuff avg doesn't. It's on the computer at home. I'll post it later. I run that one manually every week

+1

Used Avast before AT&T Yahoo started giving us free Norton anti-virus.

Here's a good free program to clean up your computer:

My Norton Internet Security is running out also. I wan to to get the AVG free version but want a firewall. Should I go ahead and get the subscription AVG? Is it worth it?

For a free firewall try Zone Alarm.  I've used it in the past.  For me, I use AVG for virus protection and have a wireless router with a built in firewall.  (Or at least that's what my computer guru tells me.)
