this may be a dumb post but my filipino wife says filipino should be spelled with a ph. She says you need to learn to spell. [:)]

Actually she is half right. In Tagalog, there is no F. Therefore Filipino should really be spelled Pilipno. That is where the term Pinoy comes from. [:D]

It's too bad we can't take in more filipinos while cutting the numbers of immigrants from certain other countries that do not share our values (the ones I'm thinking about have a large population of filipinos as domestics who are not particularly treated well). But, I know that would be wrong...
